Day Two Hundred Forty-Seven Notes

I felt great today. Fast. Pain free. After I finished my three miles, I ran an additional loop down MLK to Sparky's Pizza just because I could.

I am by no means removed from this IT Band hell; however, I am seeing progress.

It is June! The birds sing me songs on my morning loop. The poppys, callas, rhodies, peonies, and irises, roses and lavender are all blooming hard in my jungle yard. The jasmine buds are swelling. The passion vine has leafed out and is looking to predate. Oh how I longed for June way back in January when I was running in my long johns, ski mittens and fleece hat.
